Livingstone Ecological Rights Education Project

In the Southern province Environment Africa was granted permission by the Livingstone Municipality to introduce an ecological rights education project for schools. The project which will target schools and civil society organisations working in the child rights sector will be implemented in partnership with Terre des Homes Germany. The project seeks to increase awareness about the ecological rights of children so that they are viewed from a board human rights framework.

Environment Africa Trust is also a very active member of the World Heritage Site management communities which is made up of representatives from Zimbabwe and Zambia. This committee plays a very important role in ensuring that developments in and around the Victoria Falls World Heritage Site take place in a sustainable manner with very minimal damage to the surrounding environment. Environment Africa has also been a member of the team that was working on the development of the KAZA Trans Frontier spatial development plan.
